What if momma is sick? What if he just doesn't like the Ole Miss environment? Prattville is pretty bucolic as I recall. Nothing worse than being in a place you don't like. College years are some of the fondest memories. How do you fault a guy for seeking happiness? That being said, if Freeze gives him an unconditional release, I would really wonder about him (Freeze).

I want to say the kid lives with his grandmother? That may have something to do with it. He can still get to the league by playing at Troy.

Absolutely, Diamondawg.
I'm not judging him for wanting to go home--there aren't many things worse than being someplace you don't want to be.
I was just expecting home to be a very different locale, that's all.
Good luck to him.

If mom is sick then he can get one of those fancy hardship transfers or w.e they're called and play immediately. I personally think those are abused a ton but they're necessary. And I have yet to see this being the case.

And if he wants to leave cause he dislikes oxford then despite failing to live up to his commitment that's fine. What bugs me is if what posters here have said is true and he's homesick. I'm not anti transfer but I have no respect for homesick college kids.

And yea, freeze needs to limit his options. Except for UGA cause richt wants to help and we need tackles
