WHAT THE frick DOES THIS MEAN
2012- played the entire year injury free getting the bulk of the carries
2013- bruised thigh in season opener, played through it and gained 150+. Few games later against LSU had a severe high ankle sprain due to being rolled up on and missed several games. Came back (not 100%) against UF and played anyway, won the game for us. Played the rest of the year.
He missed about 3 or 4 games total, in his career, due to a high ankle sprain. What the frick do you mean he "can't stay healthy"?

It's what he says to justify putting Alabama at 1 for RB's. He's a shitty poster so pay him no mind.

In his career, he has had one injury that has caused him to miss games. It's not like he has some lingering issue.

And they call me angry...chuckle. Sure Gurley played hurt. And credit to him. But he stayed hampered all year last year and was not totally himself even in the bowl game.
How you get hurt does not matter.

quote:Going by your logic...since Amari Cooper has those "lingering" injuries last year, he can't be the best wide receiver in the SEC this year, can he? Surely the ones that can stay healthy will be in front of him, right?

I'll put it this way: Yeldon and/or Henry are just as likely to get injured this year as Gurley.
You're just looking for a justification to put UA at #1

Crowell is someone who "stayed hurt". Neither Gurley nor Marshall "stay hurt".

Henry really tore it up in the spring game with 8 carries for 22 yards.
He had majority of the carries with the 2nd string OL which was/is pretty horrible and the exact reason Bama took so many damn OL in last class they aren't on campus yet

Well, it's not gurley's fault someone rolled his ankle from behind. It's not Marshalls fault someone tackled his knee from behind. Then antibarner is expecting them both to not miss any time. He's an idiot.

Except for that one season he played every game and him only missing a few games with a high ankle sprain vs LSU and still averaging over 6 ypc.
I understand a lot of people here don't realize football exists outside of the SEC west but the stupid remarks about our RB health, Mason's lack of any experience, and complete dismissal of the WR corp is just downright shameful.

This just reminded me of Bump Day post-LSU last year. Remember when the rant thought UGA's WRs sucked and Hill was better than Gurley?
Good times

That they were. That Hill shite was hilarious. He's like the only RB UGA actually stopped.
And for 2014 people can bookmark or w/e but I'd take the UGA RB and WR corp over any in the SEC.

Nah brah...If UGA had Bama's WR corps with a good QB and Bobo's scheme UGA would be scoring 70 a game

Gurley was hurt all year and Marshall missed the year. Now that is not either one's fault but it is a fact. We do not know yet the extent of Marshall's recovery, sometimes a knee can set a player back for a long time.
Had Gurley been at Alabama he would be behind Yeldon right now because of that fact.

Now that we've all seen the 2 top SEC contenders, we can safely say this is how things shake up.
QB - Auburn
RB - Alabama
OL - Auburn
WR - Alabama
TE - Alabama
DL - Alabama
LB - Alabama
DB - LSU/Florida
ST - ???
Safely say in April? That's the dumbest thing I've ever read on this board.

I really don't know why people don't think UGA's receivers aren't good. It's baffling. Mitchell, Conley, Bennett, JSW, and co. can play with anyone.
