When I was a regular church goer, I kinda felt the same way. Now, I view people like that as being assholes. You're saying "I have to sit through this boring shite year round, and then y'all show up once or twice a year and get to do the Easter egg hunt and sing Christmas carols."

I was one of "those people" this year. I went to a church in my neighborhood that I've been to once in he past two years. I put money in the offering. I wore a tie, which is more than I can say for most of the sloppily dressed "casual Christians" who were there. I didn't dress nice to impress anyone, but rather to show respect for the people there as well as, oh, IDK, God.

Eat my butthole. I'll go to church whenever I want.

With that attitude, you exude the antithesis of a Christian. The very reason that many are turned off by church....hypocrisy at its worst.You are supposed to go to worship and fellowship with other believers to strengthen your own relationship with Yeshua, yet, you are more concerned with what people are wearing. I promise you, Yahweh and his son Yeshua are far more dis-honored by the judging heart of a suit and tie hypocrite than by the casual dress of the truly faithful. Guess those poorly dressed disciples who journeyed with Yeshua and suffered with him were bad people. Sure he wished he could have dumped them for the ornately dressed Pharisees in a second...right.
