Alright I was there so here is my take,I am sure you are all waiting with bated breath.
QB..Sims looked bad. No sugar coating it. In a pro style offense he is not the answer. I think he would be used differently in a real game, running zone read and rolling out. Bateman showed flashes and had some nice throws ,he is not ready yet but he has potential. Coker best be as advertised.
RB..Yeldon looked the best of the bunch, I would have said Drake but he dropped the ball once again. Other than that he ran HARD and gave great effort. Henry with a pedestrian day.
OL...a C at best the DL got the best of them today.
WR&TE..a few drops, Stewart had a great play when he recaught a ball. Too many drops they get a C.
DL..as a unit played the best of the bunch. Jonathan Allen played very well. Pressure,penetration and they got the best of the line play today.
LB..Tim Williams I thought played well. Foster needs to shut it down and get well. I saw some nice plays De Priest got Henry on a screen that looked like it was wide open.
DB..a pleasant surprise. The safeties played very well for the most part and I saw some good corner coverage on one on one situations..Solid day.
P and PK...Help.Plain and simple.

Thanks for the update. Obviously Bama is better than WVU on both lines, but the Mountaineers have better LBs, DBs, and WRs than the Tide. Running back is a push as both teams are very deep and talented at the position. QB is an unknown for both and WVU has MUCH better kickers and punters. WVU's kicker was hitting 55 yard FGs in the spring game...

interested to see who has the better D this year. i think we'll have the combination of pass rush and DBs to be pretty good. our offense is gonna be bad though.

I feel like this will end up being the case for both our squads. Our offenses won't be bad, they just don't be as good as they were.
