He's the scout team QB and future football coach. He may see a few snaps in a game, but probably won't ever see the game field.

That was a great throw by Wallace. Should have been a TD.

Tucker went to Auburn to learn Gus's offense so he can coach it.

I'm kind of torn about opening up against Arky kind of wish week one and two were switched so we could shake off the rust before conference play.

I hate that we are playing them the first game... We always start out kinda slow, which worries me...

I was impressed with AU. I know the O went against 2's, but I look at execution and where the ball is going, along with guys taking care of their individual assignments. The AU O was as impressive as I expected. D still has some issues, but they had key players out. IMO AU is the clear cut favorite in the SEC.

The O did look sharp. The first team D did as well. Lots of positives to take from today. Nick needs to keep working on the timing with the WR's, but he looked much better throwing the ball today. Duke was as good as advertised. Auburn stackkked!

Took Malzhan a month to get QB Nick Marshall comfy w his O. Since then--wow. AUB going to be Secretariat and rest of SEC going to be hay.
We be hay.

Cowherd does like Gus. I think he is just needling bama fans. After phyllis exploded about him when he was on finebaum's show, he goes out of his way to praise Auburn.

Cowherd doesn't care much about AU either way. He just likes pissing off gumps. He takes random shots at th Bama fan base on his radio show a good bit. I like Cowherd, but he can be a bit of an elitist and gumps have sorta been his personal punching bag for 2-3 years now. Well before the finebaum show. He went on the finebaum show that day intending to piss of the gumps, which he definitely did.
