Not to mention the right PR move is to let it out and show you don't frick around with racism. If you sweep it under the rug and it does get out (which it would), the administration looks like they condone such actions. Yeah, I'm letting the media know and parading them through the streets with shirts that read "I got expelled because I'm a racist a-hole".

Good. Send a message that this shite will not be tolerated at all. I never heard for sure if the kids were expelled or not but I hope that they were.

It was totally because of the incident no matter what they say. And anywhere else this probably doesn't get them shut down but because it's Ole Miss, there's 0 tolerance for things like that.

The statue incident just opened an opportunity for their nationals to bring them under scrutiny and investigation. They have been in bad relations with their nationals for a long time because they're a bunch of shite heads. Any other fraternity would be guilty of all the findings, but the rest of us haven't done something really stupid to launch an internal investigation by our nationals.

There was already a precedence set by Sig Ep to handle it this way back in the early 90's.
The Arkansas chapter was shut down in the mid 90's when a guy threw a chair out a window in the general direction of a black law professor that was at the front door asking the chapter to remove a sambo statue from the front lawn.
They were set up though because the law professor had one of his students conveniently sitting in a car across the street taking pictures.
Sig Ep kicked the whole chapter off campus even though the guy that threw the chair wasn't even a member. Most likely because that incident made the national news as well.
