And completely ignored the very real effects I cited that help explain the differences in achievement, learning, and test results while claiming said response sidestepped the issue because he believes in race.

This is fun to ascribe to me what I believe and then laugh at it. But you're better than that. Stonehog isn't.

Socioeconomic, cultural and educational differences make up the large part of the differences we see in testing. But most experts don't think they make up all of the difference. So, it the differences above account for 80-85% of the differences, then the discussion is (as I've said before) largely academic. But it doesn't mean that we can't have a discussion. But we seem very afraid to address these questions honestly. And anyone who is simply mildly observant is labeled with a question mark as though they could be racist. You can call me whatever you want. It doesn't change anything about me.

Oh, see, it all sounds very reasonable...until we start asking tough questions like, "Which experts?" and "Where's the poll that shows 'most experts' taking this stance?"

Thing is, asking questions is good. But asking questions simply to reinforce your preconceptions is, well, a lot less good. The nature of your questions relies on theories that have yet to be proven and 'experts' that have yet to be cited. Prof pointed out the Human Genome Project. That's a verifiable source. What's yours? Any discussion on your talking points is a waste of time until you prove they're not simply figments of the imagination/predisposition.

You said "Asians are better at math."

Asia is a pretty big continent, sure you wanna stick with that?

And I doubt some impoverished kid living in Cambodia with no education would be better at math than a privileged white kid simply because he's from an Asian country.
