After watching these two coaches over the years, I find myself comparing them to each other. Maybe its just because they both coach in the landmass.
After the game last night, I thought to myself "Self, there's no way Cohen doesn't get tossed from that game. No way!" Bianco made several trips out of the dugout to question calls, and each time I sat back and waited for it, especially on those 2 pitches Nola got. But it never came. He stayed calm, made his points, and that was it. There was no running out of the dugout acting a fool like Cohen.
Just looking at the LSU series with each this year so far you can see it. IMO, Bianco had more reason to be upset in last nights game than Cohen did in the entire series in BR. Look how that played out. I think the way Bianco carries himself and acts on the field warrants more respect than his counterpart in starkvegas and that can go a long way with the committee. Cohen might have the edge in player development and getting the most out of his guys, but as far as gameday coaching and attitude on the field, I take Bianco all day.

So the fact that Bianco didn't get tossed makes him a better coach? Pretty comprehensive assessment. I'm impressed!

This is funny.
Bianco has gotten the best of Cohen in the head to head each of the past 2 years. Prior to that, he had beaten him once in 10 head to head series.
Cohen accomplished more at Kentucky than Bianco has accomplished at Ole Miss.

If you just count regular season success you may have a case.
