Higher fat metabolism and increased hypertrophy of muscle fibers with stimulation (especially among AA males). This is why your black friends can get twice as ripped in half the time at the gym.

AAs generally have a higher proportion of fast twitch muscle fibers, especially in the hamstrings, quads and calves. This increases reaction times and especially increases the initial burst.

AAs often have a higher concentration of mitochondria in their muscle cells. Mitchondria provide for energy generation as the location of oxidative phosphorylation.

Even more fascinating, we generally do not see these traits among current native Africans. We see it in AAs who can trace their ancestory through the slave trade. In native Africans we actually see a massive increase in slow twitch muscle fibers, which is why they absolutely dominate long distance running. The difference is so striking that it frankly isn't even fair that they are allowed to compete against other groups of people. It would be like pitting the UCONN women's team against the Miami Heat.

You're all smart and doctory.

Acknowledging these things doesn't make one a racist anymore so than acknowledging that Lebron James can jump higher than Steve Nash. It is just a fact.
