The Monte Cristo is possibly the best wierd combo sandwich ever devised.
I haven't had one in about fifteen years but, I still remember the last bite of the one I did have.

I've never actually seen anybody write it this way. I thought it was a myth.
Ketchup just looks too southern to me so I went with catsup.

Butter sandwich. Just two pieces of buttered bread stuck together.

I like sour kraut on all sandwiches if that counts.

I used to have one once a year in my birthday from Cheddar's.
Needed a full year to remove it from my arteries.

I just had my first Monte Cristo wrap about 15 minutes ago, it was like the sandwich but wrapped in a flour tortilla, deep fried and sprinkled with powdered sugar. Damn good.

What unusual sandwiches do you eat?
My Grandmother in Memphis used to make me peanut butter, banana, marshmallow creme sandwiches growing up and i still eat one every year or so.

A fluffer nutter with banana, that sounds delicious.

Not my absolute favorite sandwich, but if I'm eating a tuna salad sandwich I line both pieces of bread with a layer of plain potato chips. Bread, chips, tuna salad, chips, bread. The chips add texture and flavor, plus keep the bread from getting soggy.
Metro.

Daughter unintentionally got one of those from Hardee's once: she asked for a hamburger with lettuce and mustard only, and that's what she got!

Ummmm, I guess you could look at it that way. I'm not insulted, though, because I don't have a penis.
