There is also a big difference in Bryant's 37 years as a head coach in major college football to Malzahn's 1. Gus had a hell of a lot better first season at AU than Bear had at any of his stops..... Just be patient friend and enjoy watching history be made.

We could compare their first years as HC if you want.
Bear Bryant went 5-4-1 his first year
Gus Malzahn went 12-2
