Eh, Cal is the perfect fit for UK it terms of recruiting. But UK has routinely recruited as one of the top programs in the country. And won championships under multiple coaches.

It's a perfect storm right now but it's about what the program provides because of it's historical success along with what the coach provides.

I agree that a rich history in basketball matters, I just think who's coaching is much more important.

I'd love to see the draft stats on the years of '98-Cal. I won't pretend to know.
