Arky won a championship in the 90s, had a Runner-Up, and also went to a few Final Fours in the same span. I don't know that Tennessee has been to a Final Four. If they're talking historically, they're right.
Right now is a different story. Especially if UT hires someone decent like Howland after a Sweet 16 run while Arky didn't make the tournament.

Yeah we didn't do anything before the year 2000 - Nothing......
Just #12 nationally all-time in # of NCAA victories, and #10 in bowl appearances, numerous Top 10 rankings, All-SEC and All-Americans, a Heisman winner, several SEC titles, and 5 National championships 1908,1935,1936,1962, 1958-(consensus.)
The only thing that has changed since 2000 is we are now #10 all-time in victories, #8 in bowl appearances, and we have 2 more Nattys.
