I've realized I've changed some as I have gotten older. I used to buy stuff I couldn't really afford to impress women. Early 20s, right out of school it was a $1200 mavodo, a 2.5k ebel, a shiny red motorcycle (bought on a credit card), an Audi, etc. And it worked. Girls were impressed, especially at my age, I slept with bikini models, hooters girls, some professional women, some strippers, etc. All good looking trophy types. It really worked like a charm. Gave off a fake impression I was a baller, wore expensive clothes, etc and living in atl and south florida it was the way to pick up women.

I also thought I wanted to buy my girl stuff I couldn't really afford and wanted to go into debt for a nice ring for the right one eventually, etc.

Now, I can actually afford those things and won't even consider any of it. Don't own a watch. Sold the toys like the motorcycle. Buy decent clothes, but like $40 bucks for Kenneth Cole slacks and $30 for a dress shirt. Instead of Armani and bullshite like that when I wouldnt spend under 100 for a shirt.

And as for an expensive ring? I would laugh at a girl that asked for that. Won't even consider a girl/woman that wants an expensive ring as anything other than a fun time for a little while.

I've just changed in how I think and what I like. I like stuff that is more practical. When I want to blow money, which I do plenty often, I get on a plane and go to vegas or have a big night out in Miami.

Not saying my current way of thinking is good or bad, it is just what I value and will spen money on these days. And it has changed over the years.
