I didn't think it was fair to him or the team to not even try putting him in after a certain point.

Obviously this whole thread is useless conjecture but what I don't understand is if Les didn't trust Lee to replace JJ why the heck didn't he put in Mett? There was nothing to lose by trying for fricks sake.
