I think he's talking about his personal cost not government cost. At least in that post.

Strategically speaking (while I do agree with you, and feel that this is better overall), cutting defense near the peak (whether descending or ascending) of a financial crisis is a really bad idea.

We may need to take what we need in the near future. :(

Do citizens personally pay for defense out of their own paycheck.

Since you dont mind. how about you give me an extra $300 a month, and cover the difference in my deductibles every year
