So you all reported every suspected rape regardless of the patient's wishes to the police?

From the report to the University:

Healthcare providers are generally prohibited from disclosing confidential information obtained from a patient, and we found no information that any healthcare provider disclosed the information regarding the assault to any MU officials outside of health care providers. Gotta go 808! I've enjoyed the debating/arguing....nothing personal meant on my part. I have no problem with U of M and think they do a LOT of things right! You guys have a good rest of the day!

Title IX deals with female sports. We were an academic health science campus. Title IX has absolutely nothing to do with us.

We followed the law and our NPP stated straight up that we did not have to have their permission to release information to law enforcement if it was required.
