The idea that OM fans say that other OM fans don't care about the EB is hilarious, and it exposes their insecurity. The football rivalry has been going on for over 100 years. OM will never be a power in the West, and neither will State, or Arkansas. All 3 schools will have their years, but the Western Division will keep them from achieving their ultimate goal. The only way OM and State could potentially dominate the west would be to combine assets. That will never happen.

It is also silly when other fan bases talk about OM or Mississippi State. They are always at least a few years behind the times when commenting about rivalry, coaching situations, etc. The subject of this thread is retrospective, and a good example of a beaten dead horse.

One major program in the state would be a very scary thing for the rest of the SEC.
