UK's coach prefer's to play in Memorial with the packed house feel

I did not know this.

It makes sense, Arkansas would have been better served to leave the goals up in Barnhill and "give" that facility to the women's team for games and practice (would eliminate the need for a practice facility), but I guess it being used for gymnastics and volleyball has its own set of issues in doing that.

Memorial is historic and has Art Deco architecture so both points for keeping the facility. Volleyball, W Basketball, and Gymnastics all call it their home for events. Memorial is attached to Joe Craft so the Craft Center has separate practice courts for M basketball and W basketball so all 4 sports can exist without overlap in the same facility. Back in the Pitino Era seating was reduced from 12,500 to 8,000 so offices could be constructed in the end zone behind the basket. The other end zone faces Avenue of Champions so has no seating at all - media and some floor seats for big donors is about all that fits in the space.
