Even being a homer how would this happen???

DE
Hunter JR (Draft Eligible)
Maclin SR
Rasco SR
Bower SO
Neal SO
Patterson FR
Teuhuma FR
Clark FR
and for good measure
Herron FR

so.......
Next year will be the first time in a long time the exodus will stop from LSU for one year, at least in terms of guys bolting early, only because they cant

But yes hoping LSU gets him, but I actually see Spurrier, and believe he would be a great fit there.

Now you got me confused. Your post makes it look like you're quoting me as saying LSU will have a ton of attrition. I never said that. I have no idea who LSU will have returning and who they won't.

As for Spurrier, I don't think SC has ever been mentioned as in the running for Beckner. The closest I've heard SC being mentioned is him saying he wants to go to the SEC.

quote:

Assistant coach Cornell Ford is the only college recruiter Beckner says he has a relationship with.

“I don’t really talk to schools,” he said. “Sometimes they’ll hit me up on Facebook but I really don’t respond to anything."

Beckner plans to take all five of his official visits following his senior season before making a college decision on National Signing Day.

“Most likely the SEC schools,” Beckner answered when asked who he’ll visit. “Because that’s the best competition and the best conference.”

Interesting that he says the only real relationship he has with any coach is with Mizzou's Cornell Ford and then in another interview says:

quote:

When Beckner does decide, he says academics and relationship with the coaches will be his primary focuses.

Still hoping it will be Mizzou, but it definitely sounds like it will be an SEC school. My guess (purely a guess) is that LSU is in a close 2nd.
