You seem to be skipping over part of it still. Guess who sold the Louisiana Territory to the US? Some guy named Napoleon...BTW the Acadians primarily settled outside of New Orleans, in predominantly rural areas of Louisiana.

I know who sold the Louisiana Territory to the US. I'm not sure why it matters in the grand scheme of things.
