So this thread had turned into a Georgia vs. South Carolina bickering match?
I think both states are pretty equal in terms of "southernness" for the most part. You just have to exclude certain areas like Atlanta for GA and Hilton Head in SC, which aren't really southern at all.
But, if you think South Carolina is a shithole, then you are wildly mistaken.

No, it really is a shithole. Myrtle Beach is ok tho.
