Great thread

I'm very impressed with how well-rounded Bama, Florida, UGA, and ATM are when it comes to spring sports.

Our track team appears to be getting better. Once we get Marlon Humphrey on campus I expect that to improve even more.

Gymnastics is a #1 seed for the Seattle Regional. Interesting fact about Bama football championships is that in the CNS era they were always preceded by a championship in gymnastics. When our gymnastics team has won the championship, our football team goes on to win the title. When our gymnastics team has lost, so has our football team.

FYI, Mizzou doesn't do M Tennis so the NR would make sense. We do Wrestling instead and finished ranked #9.

Don't equestrian rankings seem kind of silly to brag about? There are only 18 schools in the NCEA so if you have a team you are ranked in a top 25?

Our spring sports are really improving Softball, Track, Tennis, Swim/Dive is all good. I'm glad too see our men's track program finally recovering. For a while the women's coach was coaching both - IIRC he, maybe she, was very good but it's far too much to ask 1 coach to coach both teams. I'd love to see swim/dive get back to being above the top 20 for the men (in track we have team USA best for heaven's sake! and c'mon where are our ladies? we also have olympians in swim) but we had a coach change there (and no, UT was not to blame for that one) but it's a pattern nonetheless, mostly of Hamilton's incompetence. Mess doesn't begin to describe what ex-AD Mike Hamilton left.

As to the SoftVols...they won the hearts of America last year at the World Series. It's fantastic to see them keep building on their success. Those girls are not just good but their damned fun to watch -- a team that's easy to fall in love with because of how they play (they were shocked at all the love they got after Omaha from not just Vol Nation but around the US but that just makes them more endearing, imo).

Thanks for posting. Congrats to everyone rep'n the SEC with excellent spring sports rankings.
