With an injury to Gurley, a Marshall redshirting would leave two freshmen to carry the load. Plus, as has been mentioned, Marshall won't see his Sr year in Athens. There is no reason to redshirt him.

Or a sophomore, a redshirt freshman, and then two other freshman

Why is everyone so convinced he'll declare after his junior year? Already been stated that RBs aren't going as high anymore and he hasn't done enough to merit going too early IYAM unless he comes back this year as good as ever.

Sure there is. Not saying it's likely but I don't like those in this thread acting like there is absolutely no chance it happens. It's sports, there's no such thing as no chance.
