"It was a good scrimmage," Richmond said. "They had good speed and everything. That junior college receiver is amazing. He had a one-handed catch."
-Rivals 100 OT Drew Richmond on Duke Williams.

Drew Richmond was in attendance for the Auburn scrimmage today.

1) Gabe Wright highly praised Shon Coleman for his run blocking. Pretty much said he was a better run blocker than Greg Robinson, although he had to work on pass blocking to an extent.
2) Rudy Ford seems to be adjusting to safety better than expected and laid a hard hit on true freshman Stanton Truitt today.
3) There were a ton of recruits in Auburn today, most got to witness the scrimmage I assume. Not only were there a lot, but they were all guys that are highly touted.
4) Nick Marshall is looking better and more comfortable every practice. Pocket presence has improved even more.
5) Duke Williams has been outstanding.
6) Corey Grant is said to be the strongest player on the team, pound for pound. He has been very physical in the running game so far.
7) Derrick Moncrief has been so surprisingly good, the Auburn coaching staff might be able to move Josh Holsey back to cornerback.

It's going great. We are flying around the field at full speed. Got a lot of gamers that are instinctive and really have a good head on their shoulders.

didn't he basically say he was a better run blocker than Greg Robinson?

Pretty excited about the OM defensive front and secondary.

Also, pleasantly surprised to hear our depth on the offensive line isn't quite as bad as we thought.

Everything I've read says Tony Brown has looked really good thus far. Would be nice if he and/or Humphrey could contribute right away.

We are stacked. HC, OC, DC, SC and another #1 recruiting class. Life is good.

Dylan Thompson marched the offense down the field on the opening series, his only series of the day. The senior quarterback connected on all seven of his passes for 61 yards. Brandon Wilds capped the series with a 5-yard touchdown run.

"Dylan (Thompson) was sharp," noted Coach Spurrier. "Dylan knows what he's doing. He knows where everybody is. It's good to see him dump off to the backs underneath. He has a good awareness of where all the players are and how much time he's got. That's what good quarterbacks have."

1. Danielle Hunter is a force on the DL, and the OL is having a hard time with him.
2. Since Jermauria Rasco (our starter on the other end), is out the spring after some shoulder work, backup Tashawn Bower has been stepping up.
3. Kendell Beckwith's move to MLB has been great, and he recorded 6 tackles and 2 TFL yesterday in the scrimmage.
4. Seems like a two horse race at QB and both Anthony Jennings and Brandon Harris have improved a good deal since week one.
5. Quantavius Leslie might become more of a factor at WR with 4 catches 135 yards and 3 TDs in yesterday's scrimmage.
6. Travin Dural (4 catches 36 yards 1 TD) still seems like the starter at WR with John Diarse (2 catches 14 yards) as the slot.
7. Hilliard is the only scholarship back we have practicing after Magee hurt his ankle. He is supposedly coming back next week.

#decline is real. We probably won't win more than 4 games.

Once again lsu fans are split on who they think should be the starting qb. Barely anyone has any supporting evidence though.
