Or just get a job...then they won't have the time to find little things to bitch about constantly.

Disclaimer: that is not directed at blacks. It's directed white hipsters and a portion(not claiming large or small) of the black community.

How young are you?

Longshots was there until 2006-ish. It was where Two Stick moved to after it moved from it's kickass location in the alley.

Do you call black people racist for saying "whites/white people"?

That depends on whether or not the statement that precedes it or follows it is a generalization or biased criticism of an entire race.

For example, If a black guy said "white people are genocidal and serial killers because Adolf Hitler, Andrew Jackson, and Charles Manson are white, then I'd call him a racist.

The second half of my argument is a matter of semantics. I fail to think of a single instance in my life where "blacks" was used in Mississippi in a non racist context. I've seen "black people" used at a much higher rate and with a lower rate of racism. "Blacks" seems to be the nomenclature of choice in the delta, while "black people" is almost universal in the more civilized areas I've been to. Maybe bigots have trouble viewing "Black People" as people and "African Americans" as Americans.

I hate that levee sucks now bc I have so many fond memories from when I was younger. I remember Rebel Ride would drop us off right by the old entrance (not in alley, but in street), and once you got in it was just wall to wall sluts. And this was when I was 18 and so were all of the girls, so they hadn't developed this pretentious attitude / sense of shame for one night stands they develop after joining a sorority.

Dude, you were just 18. That's why you have fond memories of The Levee.

It's the worst bar in town, outside of Illusions/Billiards/Nighttown
