Except Hamm never predicted Lodge to commit. He only said he could see it happening:

So to sum up, he said A&M was likely to get one commit, and included in the group of possibles not only Lodge, but also Durham and some of the handful of 2016 kids in attendance.

What happened? A&M got one commit, a 2016 kid.

In fact, to underscore the fact that Hamm never specifically predicted Lodge to shut it down, here is what he said when asked about Lodge specifically:

So there was no discrediting of Hamm's posts. Baylor mod just straight up misread or mischaracterized them.

I continue to be amazed at so many people who want, no NEED for Hamm to be wrong, that their reading comprehension skills go right out the window.

Now, did Hamm perhaps take a cheap shot in responding to the one who mischaracterized his posts? My answer to that is screw Baylor.
