Based on that map, Alaska should join the SEC.

Chlamydia isn't any worse than a cold. Take an antibiotic and it's gone. Buddy of mine came down with it.

I've had 2 friends who had it. I know a girl who got syphilis and it's the same way apparently if they catch it early. Just take antibiotics...Gonorrhea too.

Herpes and HIV are the permanent shite that ruins your life. I read somewhere that 1 in 5 people have herpes...either that statistic is complete bullshite or I need to go the Boat because i'm one lucky mother fricker

I once knew a girl who had herpes. She got married and I wonder if her husband caught it too. She told me that she got it when a guy went down on her and he had a fever blister in its earliest stage. That herpes shite seems to be the real deal. I can't imagine having something like fever blisters around and on my pubic areas of my body.

In the south, the incidence of the disease seems linked directly to the African American population of the individual county.

There doesn't seem to be a similar connection in any other region of the country.

Native American and Inuit populations seem to have higher rates, look at the Dakotas and Alaska.

...and to the genital herpes talk I can't find a map but apparently 19% of the country has it. In NYC 26% of the population has it and 36% of women have it. Six years old but LINK

Dark area is native land. Lighter land is where the white people live. Dark areas of the West are mainly Native territory or villages. Reservations in Montana, N.M. and the Dakotas you'll see the same thing.

I hate Horn Lake. It's the only real eyesore. DeSoto County as a whole is one of the best areas of Mississippi. Next to Oxford and Madison. I don't understand why its never listed.

I honestly can't believe that none of you have never had an STD.

Based on the numbers some of you have. I had the Chlamydia, but I was in the navy at the time, so I guess that's to be expected.

It really isn't a big deal, I remember being devastated and calling home for some reassurance, to which my dad told me.

"Son, quit your bitching, you've had sex and now your dick hurts, it happens."

I got some pills and I was all good, seriously though the metal qtip in the pee hole is not fun.

That must have been for...? No idea. I didn't get metal rodded

I had the same issue though coming from ole fort bragg and a few powder packets later I was good to go.

I've been tested countless times, and I always hear people tell me about this, but I've literally never had it done.

This was 20 years ago, so maybe they have a different test now.

Plus, it was the Navy and those frickers are kind of brutal.

You've got dozens of friends that have had it... As do I... We just don't know about it.

Most likely.

I think you have a 60% chance of catching it if you have unprotected sex with an infected person. If they don't have sores at the time of the act then you can get lucky and not catch it. They also have meds to reduce the symptoms and help not spread it for people who do have it.

this is becoming more common. Fever blisters are a different form of herpes but they have started to be able to mutate into genital herpes due to the increase of oral sex.

I'm shocked I've never had one. I just got tested 2 months ago and was 100% clean. And my numbers are pretty high....but then again a lot of them were people who I was familiar with and the ones who were random seemed mostly decent.

I try to avoid the trashy looking ones even if they're hot...profiling works.
