It's definitely true; you may just be too proud to admit it. During the 2000's the school the fanbase and student body most despised and most wanted to beat was Tech - by a lot. That made them our main rival during that period of time. We definitely still disliked Texas during that time period and enjoyed the wins we had over them, but the atmosphere around that game became more of a cocktail party. Tech was a feeling of pure hate.

I'm not sure what groups you hung around, but that definitely wasn't the feeling.

Sorry but it ain't true and I don't know who the hell you hung out with but they sound like they had relatives at Tech. Never mind that the vast majority of the hate was coming from Tech's end.
Where I sit at Kyle you'd get laughed out the section for saying Tech became our main rival over the sips.
