FWIW.. Ray & Stephanie bought, restored & donated my great-great-great-great-great-grandfathers(William Daniell)home in Oconee Co. back to the County in the early 2000's...

quote:

The William Daniell House is supposedly the oldest surviving structure in Oconee County. It is believed to have been constructed in 1790 for his wife Mary (Polly) Melton. William Daniell served in the Revolutionary War under the command of General Elijah Clarke and served in the Battles of Kettle Creek and King’s Mountain, among others. In 1999, this house was restored by Ray Goff and Stephanie Goff. Presently, the home is owned and maintained by Oconee County. The William Daniell House can be rented for special occasions by coordinating through the Oconee County Civic Center

Besides the Zaxby's franchises, he has a home reclamation and building business, as well as a business that recycles old wood lumber for re-use...

Ray was a good man who got thrust into a job that he wasn't yet qualified for. He gave everything he had to UGA and it's a shame the way he's treated by some fans. I didn't like his record, but he was a DGD.
