Meh, I know people who live there and that is what they tell me. They say a bunch of them die every year from getting shite faced at the bars, passing out in the streets, and freezing to death.

True, in parts of Alaska that are extremely cold. Southern, Coastal areas are relatively warm. Many villages have banned alcohol.
