You're right it was far worse...we gave up almost 200 yards rushing to Buffalo,206 yards rushing to one of the worst Kentucky teams of the 2000's,300 Yards to GSU,40+ pts to a medicore team.Good God, if not for our Offense we win maybe 5 games.

Your really comparing our national scoring ranking between our offense and defense????

How bout comparing historical terms? It was the all time WORST rushing defense in UGA FB history with SEVEN NFL players...what part of this do you not understand?

How bout the offense...set all time UGA FB records for yards and points...

You should be able to get better production by accident on a defense that has 7 or 8 NFL players. No DC in UGA history had as many NFL players make the league in 1 year...and he sets all time records for one of the worst rush defenses in UGA history.

Good post. I think motivation was part of it, too. Grantham's unwillingness to sub players was just stupid. I have high hopes for this season, and since the players seem excited about the changes, then that has to be good, right?

You can bitch and moan like a little girl about rushing yards.

Rushing touchdowns (and defensive scoring) is a much bigger deal.

And everyone wants to keep bringing up all of these nfl players.
Do you even know how many of those players who left in 2012 are still even on a roster?
Come fall... it could be down to 4
