Does anyone really buy this? Pearl committed a very minor infraction that isn't even against the rules currently. His problem is that he's a bad liar. To me, that's a bonus. We will all know if he ever tries to lie or blow smoke.

In Pearl's history, there is plenty of sleaze. It is not relegated to the incident of lying to the NCAA.
