Cold turkey... just have to realize the first 2 weeks are going to be really tough. Have something to try and distract the cravings, exercise, run, eat breath mints, sunflower seeds,anything to try and distract you from the cravings. I quit several years ago and having a can of breath mints on hand at all times helped me.

I still have the last can of Copenhagen that I bought, in my car. The date stamped is Aug 27, 2007. I used those Nicorette mints. I figure that although nicotine is not good for you, it's not the nicotine, it's the other chemicals in the stuff that will do real harm to you. I still, to this day refuse to take a dip, cause I know that all it will take is one, and I would be right back to doing it again. It was really tough the first 2 or so weeks.
