What world do you live in? Do you think companies just invite anybody and everybody to come interview for them? I went through on and off campus recruiting while in school and guess who got invited to the recruiting events and got wined and dined by potential employers? The students with the best resumes(highest grades, etc). The employers were very selective in who they talked with and invested time. It wouldn't be a rule for the NFL, Saban is just suggesting they be more selective in who they invite to come to the combine. Many more come than ever have a chance to play in the NFL and I know it might come as a shock to you but some might even regret giving up their eligibility with no NFL career to show for it.

What did you miss? He wants to cut down on how many are getting invites. He said don't give them an invite if they don't grade out in the 3rd round.

Common sense is a rarity on this board. They'd have something to say anti-Saban, if he explain a simple way to wipe your a--. Bless their hearts.
