That is suggesting something be added to obstruct a person wanting to apply for work and stopping him from getting an interview.

I can agree with an underclassmen combine as a choice.

What world do you live in? Do you think companies just invite anybody and everybody to come interview for them? I went through on and off campus recruiting while in school and guess who got invited to the recruiting events and got wined and dined by potential employers? The students with the best resumes(highest grades, etc). The employers were very selective in who they talked with and invested time. It wouldn't be a rule for the NFL, Saban is just suggesting they be more selective in who they invite to come to the combine. Many more come than ever have a chance to play in the NFL and I know it might come as a shock to you but some might even regret giving up their eligibility with no NFL career to show for it.
