So apparently they have history dating back to Cal's time a Memphis? Also, I would think Pearl replacing Calipari's guy Barbee adds some additional fuel to the fire

Anyone else excited about seeing this rivalry renewed?

They hate each other. Cal is afraid of Pearl. Per Gary Parrish, it's a personal disdain. Much deeper than the Cal/Petino fued.

So now Auburn is on par with Kentucky in basketball? You guys act like Auburn is a historic basketball power that just needed the right man to bring them back.

Oh and I imagine Cal is pretty excited to know he will face Pearl at Auburn rather than one of the top SEC basketball schools.
