So basically kiffin is saying take the fricking' ball and score some fricking touchdowns.... I am down.

What I am reading into that is ... run more WR screens for a gain of 3 yards each!! Isn't that what Kiff ran at USC mostly?

im sure that's what Cooper would like to run. but i hate those WR screens.

He basically said it's more player friendy because the terminology is simpler. It's clear who's doing what with the play call. No thinking, just playing

Really? Cooper is sick on WR screens.

I don't understand why anyone would hate screens.

The problem is that last year there were a couple games where the screens worked early, the defense adjusted, and we kept running them even though we were getting tackled for a loss. I kept thinking we would fake the screen and release the blocking WR deep but it never happened for some reason.

The problem wasn't screens. The problem was Nuss. Screens have their place in a game plan, but you have to add other wrinkles for the offense to be successful. Fake the screen and go deep or throw it to the TE.
"Look at how great Nuss is at adjusting the offense to exploit the defense" said no Bama fan ever.
