There are obvious stereotypical racist, sexist, elitist, jokes & comments made here all the time, not to mention Arky ones. Most of the time, the sarcasm is detectable, & the dry humor is amusing, but I remember reading some of the judge's posts from a while back. I didn't see the Theron adoption thread, but did see some of the Arky comments & the ones I considered sexist. I particularly remember the "women should suck it up & stay with a man who steps out on her for financial reasons" comment. I knew he wasn't joking.

I assumed he was a retired judge from LA since I thought no sitting judge in his right mind would make statements like that, especially when he was prefacing them by saying, "I once had a case ..." or "I've had many cases where ... " I was shocked to find out this judge was still on the bench in Conway, Arkansas, and who he is.

I guess, to me, a judge is held to a higher standard than everyone else since he's really supposed to be impartial, and whether he's trying to come across as sarcastic or joking, many of this guy's statements ring very true concerning his beliefs about issues & people he actually sits in judgment of.

The thing is, he could've posted on this site if he wanted to participate in an LSU sports based forum without any problem, but he chose to use "judge" in his name, he stated many times he was or had been a judge, and he made comments that are really very inappropriate considering his position.

I honestly think he was just extremely arrogant & egotistical. It's almost like he wanted people to know who he is, what he does, & how he believes. Had he wanted to just talk about LSU sports & shoot the shite, he could've done so easily without being "outed."

And honestly, I do find it particularly offensive that he commented on Arkansas in the manner that he did. It's one thing for fan bases to trash talk, but a completely different issue when a sitting judge in your own state makes it sound as though every single Arkansan is a white trash relative and/or animal fricker. It just doesn't sit well with me that he's referring to the citizens who elect him & pay his salary.
