More likely a confidence boost to the fans who need it right now. If they make a run in the SEC and NCAA tournament he looks like a genius and if it doesn't he can just say well it didn't work as well as we hoped.

He can say it didn't work all he wants and spin it that way. For non-UK fans, we'll be saying don't believe the hype, again.
