Something to consider for the naysayers.
Richt has developed an aggressive coaching style taking some chances that can produce big plays. For example a 1st quarter onside kick, trusting AM with making passes on goal on first down, going for conversions and big risk big reward plays.
A coach like Muschamp or D Dooley are not risk takers IMO and have a vanilla coaching style. Like it or not Malzhan is also a risk taker. When Richt was down a few years back he was way too conservative. Hell, he was conservative with Stafford and Moreno.
Give the guy credit, he's beginning to take more chances and I like him better when he does.
Just my 2 cents. Observations?

The special teams gambling is great but I would much rather we be able to shag a punt without fumbling it....hopefully we got that shite out of our collective systems
