Its not just Arkansas, its everywhere. Family law makes divorce into "cash and prizes" for the woman.

There's no stigma to being a divorced woman or a single mom, so women really have no incentive to stay. I'm cynical for various reasons, lets just say.

No fault divorce means she can be fricking every guy on your street, file for divorce, and she's still coming out on top.

Part of the reason I will probably never get married, certainly have zero desire to at this stage in life or anytime soon.

What I was afraid of.

I stand to lose a bit and I'd also like to have my little girl. She hasn't had an actual job in 4 years.

I've thought of selling everything and then buying things back later....but that may be dumb too.

Child support will probably be much more than what you are paying now for a house cleaner and a nanny, plus you won't be able to see your child as much, plus the things that you will want to provide for your child directly will not reduce your monthly child support payments.

And your suspicions about your wife moving out of state with your child are probably accurate, mine did.

Sounds like you might have to deal with something I never did and that is alimony.

Don't have much to go on, but if she'd rather see you dead than for you to leave her and she's good looking, sounds like there's something to work with there.

Only financial issue with trying to work it out is that if your business is growing, that's just that much more she's going to get out of you if you split later.
