Don't be hatin. I see nothing wrong with that puzzle anyway.
I've heard the 4 men in hats so i have to disqualify myself
have you heard this one
You have a thousand $1 bills. You also have 10 envelopes.
How do you distrubute the dollar bills in those 10 envelopes, so that no matter what amount of money I ask you for between 1 and 1000, you can hand me some combination of envelopes and always be assured of giving me the correct amount of cash.

C calls out his hat. He knows that that D behind him can see both his and B's hat and figures out that if his hat were the same color as B's, D would see two hats of the same color and immediately know he had one of the opposite color. But since D does not say anything, C deduces his hat must be of the opposite color of B in front of him.
