I can swim. Not well or for long distances, though 
I prefer to snorkel if I have to be in the water, tbh.
My dad can't swim worth a lick, though
But my mom is an excellent swimmer. Like, competition-worthy.
Guess I'm appropriately in the middle on that one.

I'll never forget the day I saw a small child in the fountains at Shelby park wearing those little inflatable rubber things around her arms and her smug mother saying something to the effect of "Don't drown tyisha"
There was no standing water, it comes out of the ground and then drains back into a storage unit.
