Jalen Miller, another Freshman, is faster than Kailo at this point. He ran a 10.24...Track team has some young talent.

Can DeVante be better than Bo Wallace?
Yes
Will Devante be better than Bo Wallace?
We all would like to believe he will be.

Being a better talent is not hard to determine. Will he be a better QB?
Will he read the defenses as well?
Will he make the proper read when necessary in that split second of time allowed?
Will he be able to handle the pressure?

We've seen in the past the better QB's at Ole Miss tend to handle pressure, not be the most talented.

Romero Miller comes to mind. Eli, had far more talent, but a ton of pressure from the expectations of all of us.

Jevan Snead had nothing between the ears, but did have some talent.

Bo is a competitor, he hasn't taken himself out due to his injuries. He has gone out and competed.

Now, if injured this year, can he step aside and let DeVante have a shot at winning some games.

If things aren't going well for what ever reason, look for Devante to get plenty of playing time.

I think we only lose Vincent Sanders on offense this year and maybe Nick Parker.

Whomever shows they are ready, should see plenty of playing time this season, behind Bo.

Personally, I would like to see DeVante play the fourth qtr of the first 4 games, because we are comfortably in control. I would like to see him used in at least one series in the first half of all games.

I would like to see Bo making decisions based on what is best on every play, as opposed to only running when it"s most opportune. I believe the staff was attempting to keep him healthy last season by limiting his running, on the read option. This made running the ball less effective.

Regardless, Devante Kincaide will inherit one of the most talented and experienced teams in Ole Miss history. He will be expected to win. I hope he does.
