They're selling a product to a population too lazy to know the difference. They don't destroy the political dialog, they fill the vacuum that was left when ignorant bliss became an acceptable way of living.

Accurate description, I think.

Kinda like the last video I posted, folks could tell you who spent what on a dress, but not their political stance. Society relies on their news from places like the Daily Show, SNL and Colbert, because their attention spans are the size of a flea and they have to be entertained to remember anything.

They sell a product to people who politics is nothing more than a game of blue team vs red. The overly emotionally invested.

I see the ignorant bliss crowd as those who watch the news a week before an election to decide who to one for. That's not who Palin is working over, but instead manipulating the negative emotions of people to confirm their biases. I see plenty of otherwise well read and intelligent people get sucked in...Not just the vapid fools.
