White knighting?

I just thought it was hilarious that hjj said he wished wright would've talked about how far OM has come when there were 2 embarrassing racial situations on the OM campus in the past 2 weeks.

The 30 for 30 is over a year old, arse.

And if you look at all what Ole Miss has done positively compared to the negatives, the people saying the university is still racist would be very disappointed.

I see both points.

Ole Miss has come a long way (as have Mississippi and the US in general) with race relations, but there are some pretty fricking stupid, sheltered, entitled people as undergrads at Ole Miss. Bad apples and the whole bunch and all that.

That said, I don't think Wright Thompson owed it to Ole Miss to report the story any differently. I don't think that's really the point of the story anyway.
