I think the Lattimore point is accurate. Clowney definitely lost some of his edge this year even considering that teams were game-planning against him. While Lattimore may have turned out allright, there is no doubt that his injury was shocking to Clowney and the other players on the team. Mario Williams faced similar doubts about his effort and turned out to be a legit #1 pick.
