Ref is a prick.
AUBURN, Alabama -- Not even fans were immune to the referee's whistle Wednesday night at Auburn Arena.
Michael Hardin, 41, was ejected midway through the second half of Auburn's 83-67 victory against South Carolina after criticizing referee Ted Valentine from his court-side seat along the Auburn baseline.
The Tigers were up 59-44 on South Carolina with 12:01 remaining. Hardin, who says he walked on at Auburn's basketball team in 1991, said he had enough of the foul disparity between the teams.
"I think everybody who was sitting with me was pretty much frustrated with the calls and we had been telling the refs to blow their whistle," Hardin told AL.com. "They have a whistle, blow it, and on that last play Jordon Granger drove the lane and he got slapped so hard on the arm that everybody could hear it. They didn't call a foul and as soon as that ref came over in front of us, I simply said to him, 'Did you hear that?' I said it pretty loud. As soon as I said that he turned around he said 'I want him out of here.'"
Auburn was called for eight fouls in the second half before South Carolina was whistled and charged with a foul with 14:40 remaining in the second half.

Maybe your fans should get angry at their players for fouling so much... not the innocent ref for doing his job?
