Is it possible for two people to have the same dream at the same time?

That is to say, two people INSIDE the EXACT same dream, not dreaming the same thing separately. I was having a dream, and I knew I was dreaming, but one of the people in my dream felt real. Like an actual presence in my mind.

How do you know we're not all in the same dream as we speak?

I think so. Dreams aren't always metaphysical, but oft times they are.

I suggest keeping a dream journal.

Me an my GF the other day had similar dreams. She dreamed I cheated on her with a certain girl...and I had a dream that I had sex with this exact same girl as in her dream.

Of course I didn't tell her about my dream, but it freaked me the frick out. I'm taking it as a sign

I don't think a dreamscape is complex enough to hold another consciousness, even one that is dreaming.
